Return & Refund Policy

At Africa Name Tags, we take great pride in the quality of every badge and name tag we produce. This policy outlines the conditions under which returns, replacements, and refunds are accepted.
1. Acceptance of Policy
By placing an order with Africa Name Tags — whether online, via WhatsApp, email, or phone — you agree to be bound by this Return & Refund Policy. No exceptions or variations are valid unless confirmed in writing by Africa Name Tags.
2. What We Accept Returns For
Because all our badges and name tags are custom-made to your specifications, we only accept returns in the following circumstances:
- The product has a manufacturing defect (e.g., printing errors, material flaws, or structural faults caused during production).
- The product delivered does not match the approved artwork or order specifications confirmed by Africa Name Tags.
We do not accept returns for products that have been damaged by the customer after delivery, including scratches, bending, breakage, or misuse. Returns are only valid where the defect or error originates from our side.
3. How to Report a Defective or Incorrect Item
All defective or incorrect items must be reported to us within 5 business days of receiving your order. To submit a claim, please contact us via email or WhatsApp and include the following:
- Your order number or proof of purchase
- Clear photographs showing the defect or discrepancy
- A brief description of the issue
Claims submitted after 5 business days of delivery may not be accepted. Africa Name Tags reserves the right to inspect all returned items before approving a replacement or refund.
4. Returns Process
Returns will only be accepted if they meet all of the following conditions:
- The defect or issue was reported within 5 business days of delivery
- The return has been approved in writing by Africa Name Tags
- The items are returned with the original packaging and your order or invoice number
Returns that do not meet these criteria may be declined. Once we have received and inspected the returned items, we will notify you of the outcome within 3 business days.
5. Replacements & Refunds
Where a valid defect or error is confirmed, Africa Name Tags will, at its discretion, either:
- Reproduce and replace the defective items at no additional cost to you, or
- Issue a full or partial refund to your original payment method
We do not issue refunds for correctly produced custom orders where the customer has changed their mind after production has begun.
6. Cancellations
Orders cancelled before production begins may be subject to a 30% administration fee to cover design and processing costs already incurred. Once production has started, cancellations cannot be accepted as the items are custom-made specifically for you.
7. Product Guarantee
All Africa Name Tags products carry a 1-year guarantee against manufacturing defects under normal use. This guarantee does not apply to damage caused by misuse, poor handling, unsuitable storage, or accidental damage. Valid guarantee claims will result in a replacement or refund at our discretion.
8. Delivery Inspection
We strongly encourage all customers to inspect their order upon delivery. Risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer once the order has been handed to the courier or collected from our premises. Any courier-related damage must be reported to both Africa Name Tags and the courier company within 5 business days.
